Abstract macro and wide angle photography of decaying glass, metal, paint of cars, autos, trucks, buses, signs, etc. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese expression meaning to appreciate flawed beauty in things that deteriorate. Nothing lasts, nothing is finished , and nothing is perfect. Through this process wabi-sabi characteristics include asymmetry, asperity, simplicity, modesty, intimacy and the suggestion of natural processes. Sentiments of desolation and solitude contribute to the learning that as simple objects age they exhibit changes that are interesting, fascinating and beautiful.
